Private Voice Studio

steignway_edited_edited.jpg

I believe one of the most rewarding and enjoyable parts of singing is the work we do together in the studio. With a strong background in pedagogy, I’ve always loved the process of learning and discovery that comes with training the voice. I’ve been fortunate to study with inspiring teachers like Richard Miller (The Structure of Singing) and Stephen W. Smith (The Naked Voice), and their influence continues to shape the way I teach.

In my studio, I focus on building a strong, healthy technical foundation while helping each student discover and develop their own unique sound. Every voice is different, and technique isn’t one-size-fits-all, it’s something we explore together through curiosity, experimentation, and trust in the process. I believe the most lasting growth comes not just from knowing how to sing, but understanding why something works.

My goal is to give students the tools and confidence to become their own best teacher, so they can continue growing independently and with a sense of ownership over their voice.

In addition to classical training, I work with a wide range of styles, including Opera, Art Song, and Broadway. I also offer guidance on audition preparation, performance skills, and navigating the business side of singing, drawing on my professional experience to provide practical, real-world insight.

All lessons are offered online via Zoom or other widely used platforms.
